Katie Chan has a diverse work experience in marketing and management roles. Katie started their career at Nimbus Water Systems Inc as a Sales & Marketing Specialist from March 2011 to May 2012. Katie then joined Wal-Mart Canada in May 2012 as a Marketing Project Analyst for Grand Opening Stores, where they supported the planning and execution of marketing strategies. From April 2013 to August 2017, Katie worked as a Promotional Space Planning Manager at Wal-Mart Canada, leading a team and creating national corporate space strategies. Katie later joined Metro Inc. in August 2017 as a Shopper Marketing Manager for Flyer & Signage before being promoted to Senior Shopper Marketing Manager in May 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Marketing for Food Basics at Metro Inc. starting in May 2022.
Katie Chan obtained their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Ryerson University between 2004 and 2008.
