Christine Pearson has extensive work experience in human resources. Christine is currently serving as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Metro Housing|Boston since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Human Resources Consultant at Insource Services, Inc. from October 2018 to March 2021.

Before that, Christine held various positions at Advocates, a $75M human services non-profit. Christine started as the Director of Human Resources in 2000 and later became the Vice President of Human Resources, a position they held from 2013 to September 2018. During their tenure, the organization grew from 300 employees to over 1400. Christine provided leadership and guidance in talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training/leadership development, compensation, and benefits.

Christine also gained experience in the healthcare industry as the Director of Human Resources for Home Health and Pharmacy division at Mariner Health Care from 1998 to 2000. Christine oversaw recruitment, benefits, employee relations, and training activities, and was instrumental in transitioning the division's payroll, benefits, and employee relations to a new owner.

Additionally, Christine worked as a Human Resources Generalist/Transition Manager at Consolidated Group from 1997 to 1998, where they managed the full range of HR activities and successfully completed the office closing and transition of duties.

Christine started their career as a Human Resources Manager at Ro-Jack's Food Stores, Inc., overseeing the acquisition of union stores and designing a performance appraisal system and training program.

Christine's early career also includes roles in payroll at Thomas Cook and customer service at Pepsi Cola of the Hudson Valley.

Christine Pearson earned their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Psychology from the University at Albany, SUNY, from 1987 to 1991. Christine then pursued a Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at the University of Baltimore from 1991 to 1993.
