Simon Wensley

Simon Wensley serves as the Managing Director and CEO of Metro Mining Ltd (ASX:MMI) since July 2021, overseeing a high-quality bauxite production operation with plans to expand capacity. Additionally, Simon is a Founding Partner and Director of MineVeritas Pty Ltd, providing expert due diligence and transaction advice in the natural resources sector since February 2019. Previously, Simon was a Founding Partner and Executive Director at Montserrat Mining, focusing on upstream energy fuels from April 2015 to February 2019. Simon's extensive experience includes a decade with Rio Tinto, where roles encompassed Chief Commercial Officer for Energy and Managing Director of Commercial Bauxite & Alumina. Simon holds an MBA from INSEAD and a BA in Chemistry from the University of Oxford.
