Kristin Thompson

Kristin Thompson is an experienced professional in the public transportation sector, currently serving as the Director of Asset Management at Metro Transit since June 2006, having previously held roles including Assistant Director of Service Development and Supervisor of Service Analysis. Kristin's career at Metro Transit began as a Data Management Analyst. Prior to this role, Kristin worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota from 2004 to 2006. Kristin holds a degree in Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) from the University of Minnesota and a BA in Psychology from Macalester College, along with a Leadership APTA Class of 2020-2021 certification from the American Public Transportation Association.
