Brandon Klocko has a diverse work experience, primarily in the field of emergency medical services. Brandon started their career in 2005 as a Senior Paramedic Field Training Officer at Metro West Ambulance. In this role, they provided advanced life support, training, evaluation, and mentoring to new employees. Brandon also conducted investigations and made decisions based on patient assessments. Brandon held this position until February 2021.
In 2013, Brandon joined the Oregon Health Authority as an Emergency Medical Services Professional Standards and Compliance specialist. Here, they were responsible for project management, development, and maintenance of the emergency medical services provider licensing system. Brandon conducted in-depth evaluations and investigations of alleged violations of Oregon Statutes and Rules, prepared investigation reports, and consulted with higher authorities for resolution. Brandon worked in this role until February 2021.
Additionally, Brandon held the position of Operations Manager at Metro West Ambulance starting in February 2021. In this role, they oversaw day-to-day operations, facilitated communication between field staff and management, monitored system status, and coordinated scheduling, equipment, and supplies for the organization.
Brandon Klocko earned an Associate's degree from Linn-Benton Community College in 2005. In 2007, they obtained an Associate of Paramedicine degree from the College of Emergency Services. In terms of certifications, they acquired a Paramedic License from the Oregon Health Authority in June 2021 and a Paramedic Certification from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians in February 2020.
