Karina Contrera

Karina Contrera is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in information technology and management. Currently serving as the Head of Architecture, Data Management, and QA at MetroGAS since November 2006, Karina leads a team of solutions architects and is responsible for developing enterprise-compliant solutions and strategic technology roadmaps. Prior roles include Head of System Development, where Karina coordinated software development teams, and Information Security Lead, focusing on cybersecurity advisory and data protection measures. Previously, Karina held the position of Information Technology Manager at Grupo Tentissimo S.A., establishing the IT division, and Security Team Lead at DISCO S.A., where new security controls and plans were implemented. Educational qualifications include a Licentiate in Systems Analysis from the University of Buenos Aires, a Postgraduate Degree in System Management from Universidad de Belgrano, an MBA from Universidad del Salvador, and a Master in Business Intelligence & Big Data Analytics from EUDE Business School.
