Ashley Horgan

Team Lead - Customer Protective Services at Metrolinx

Ashley Horgan has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Ashley joined Metrolinx in 2019 and has held two roles in the Customer Protective Services department. Ashley started as a Communicator and later became the Team Lead. Prior to Metrolinx, Ashley worked for TJX Canada as a Store Investigator from 2018 to 2019. Ashley also has experience in security and dispatch operations, having worked for Paladin Security Group Ltd. Ashley held different roles such as Dispatch Operator, Switchboard Operator, and Security Guard. Ashley also worked as a Youth Education Program Relief Worker at The Stop Community Food Centre from 2015 to 2016, and as a Cashier Customer Service at Loblaws Supermarket from 2009 to 2013.

Ashley Horgan's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts - BA Honours degree in Multicultural and Indigenous Studies from York University, which took place from 2015 to 2018. They also obtained a Certificate in Anti-Racist Research and Practice from York University during the same time period. Prior to that, Ashley pursued a Diploma in Crime Scene Investigation at Humber College from 2014 to 2015 and a Diploma in Police Foundations from 2011 to 2013, also at Humber College. In addition to their formal education, Ashley has obtained various certifications, including Anti-Racism for Workplaces, Mental Health in the Workplace for Employees, Unconscious Bias, Standard First Aid, CPR and AED, Basic Incident Management System 200, Basic Emergency Management, and Introduction to Incident Management System 100.
