Tim McCormick

Tim McCormick is a Senior Research Scientist at Metron, Inc. since August 2018, where responsibilities include program management and technical leadership on diverse Department of Defense contracts, focusing on quantum algorithms, optimal control, sensor fusion, tracking, and deep reinforcement learning for adversarial environments. Prior to this role, Tim served as a Presidential Fellow at The Ohio State University from August 2012 to July 2018, conducting research on electronic and thermal transport in novel quantum materials and developing software for modeling physical systems while collaborating with experimental groups. Tim earned a PhD in Physics from The Ohio State University and a BS in Physics from the University of Delaware.
