Senior Vice President of R&D and Manufacturing at Metronom Health

Neil Becker has over 30 years of work experience in various roles within the medical device industry. In their most recent position as Senior Vice President of R&D and Manufacturing at Metronom Health, they led the development of wearable Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) technology for diabetics. Prior to this, they served as Vice President of R&D and Manufacturing at the same company.

Before joining Metronom Health, Neil worked at Freudenberg Medical as the Director of Product Development, where they coordinated resources globally to develop and commercialize medical devices for numerous California-based medical device companies. Neil held this position from 2016 to 2018.

From 2014 to 2015, Neil worked at Halyard Health as a Senior Research and Development Manager and R&D Manager. Neil was responsible for designing and commercializing digestive and respiratory products for hospitals and home care.

Prior to their role at Halyard Health, Neil was a Senior R&D Manager at Kimberly-Clark from 2010 to 2014. Here, they led multiple design and development teams focused on innovative products for patients with digestive insufficiency.

Neil's career started at Puritan Bennett in 1989 as an R&D Engineer, where they worked on projects involving product design and quality improvements for oxygen concentrators and ventilators.

Neil also has experience at Boston Scientific, where they served as an R&D Manager and led the transfer of lead delivery system technology and intellectual property from Abbott Labs to Boston Scientific. Before that, they worked at Guidant as an R&D Manager, contributing to the development of innovative medical products for Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, and Peripheral Vascular disease.

Neil Becker attended California State University, Chico from 1982 to 1989. During this time, they pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in the field of Engineering. Neil completed their studies and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
