Cosmo Wolfe is a founding engineer at Metronome, where they are responsible for the technical aspects of the company. Cosmo has held this position since June 2012. Prior to that, they were a freelance software engineer from January 2009 to June 2012.
Wolfe joined Clever as one of three original engineers in June 2012. Their primary focus was on shipping a technical product that met early customer needs as Clever went through YCombinator and beyond. Cosmo grew the engineering team from 3 to 50 engineers and provided technical leadership and mentorship.
Cosmo built the Clever "Instant Login" product and grew it to support logins and SSO for 2/3 of US students per day. Some of the challenges they faced included moving to a micro-service oriented architecture, making it safe to move fast by reducing the institutional knowledge individual engineers require to make impactful changes, and helping all engineers define and progress along their growth path.
Their manager is Scott Woody, CTO. Some of their coworkers include Mikhail Panchenko - Founding Engineer, Naman Agarwal - Founding Engineer, and Alice Chen - Founding Engineer.
