Brahima Berete

Brahima Berete is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in virtualization and disaster recovery management. Currently serving as the Virtualization and Disaster Recovery Manager at MetroPlus Health Plan since December 2014, Brahima is responsible for architecting, building, and managing VMware environments, as well as configuring and supporting the Cisco UCS platform. Prior to this role, Brahima held various positions at Barclays Capital, including Virtualization and Automation Service Manager and Infrastructure Delivery Manager, where responsibilities included management and deployment of technologies for the global virtual server estate and overseeing infrastructure project deliverables. Beginning a career at Barclays Capital as a Datacenter Logistics/IMAC Coordinator, Brahima focused on managing installations, moves, and changes within the datacenter environment. Brahima holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology from The City University of New York.
