Alison Deans

Alison Deans has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Alison currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Metropolis Dermatology since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an Advisor at UCSF Health Hub starting from June 2020. From November 2020 to October 2021, they held the position of Head of Clinical Operations at JumpstartMD, a healthcare company focused on weight loss and overall wellness. Alison also had a role as an Executive Mentorship at CSweetener from June 2020 to May 2021.

Earlier in their career, Alison worked at Silicon Valley Medical Development, where they held the positions of Executive Director, Innovation and Experience from September 2019 to October 2020, and Executive Director, Operations from October 2018 to September 2019. At Sutter Health - Palo Alto Medical Foundation, they held various roles, including Service Line Director from May 2015 to August 2018, and Director of Cosmetic, Concierge, and Executive Health Clinical Programs and Services from August 2014 to May 2015.

Alison's early professional experience includes working as an Administrative Fellow at Sutter Health from July 2013 to August 2014, and as a Graduate Intern at Sutter Health - Palo Alto Medical Foundation in 2012. Alison started their career at Luxottica Group as an Operations Manager and Licensed Optician from January 2007 to September 2011.

Alison Deans holds a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Washington. Alison pursued Executive Education in Leading Digital Transformation in Health Care from Harvard Medical School in 2019. Additionally, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Colorado Boulder.
