Gavin Newman

Gavin Newman has a diverse work experience in the media and entertainment industry. Gavin started their career at Channel 4 Television as an Online Editor & Producer, where they produced and edited websites and content for various shows and events. Gavin then moved on to Virgin Media, where they served as a Senior Online Producer/Editor. Following this, Gavin worked as an Online and Content Consultant for The End.

In 2008, Gavin joined The Hospital Group as the Head of Music & Online. In this role, they were responsible for managing the Club's website and content management system, as well as developing their live music program and content strategy. After eight successful years at The Hospital Group, Gavin moved to Metropolis Studios in 2016 as the Brand Director. In this position, they championed music and technology through flagship series formats and partnerships. Notably, Gavin launched the UK's highest resolution Dolby Atmos/Spatial mix studio in 2021, which was utilized by Amazon Music as their UK HQ for spatial mixing.

Gavin Newman earned a BA Hons degree in English Literature & Art History from Brunel University London, where they studied from 1993 to 1996.
