Maribel Afonso is an experienced kitchen and bath designer with a strong background in cabinetry estimation and project assistance. Currently serving as an Estimator/Project Assistant at Metropolitan Cabinets & Countertops since May 2021, Maribel accurately produces custom cabinetry estimates and supports the design team with cabinetry drawings. Maribel has held various positions, including Kitchen & Bath Designer at Afonso Design & Remodeling and Kitchen Designer at Designs For Living Kitchen & Bath Center. Previous roles encompass commercial kitchen cabinet estimating and showroom management, with a professional journey that began with design assistant positions and culminated in a comprehensive interior design education from the New England Institute of Art.
