JP Y. has a diverse background in finance, strategic planning, and business development. JP has held key leadership roles in notable companies such as Metropolitan Mechanical Contractors, HEVO, NextSeed, and The Energy and Minerals Group. JP Y. has excelled in finance, investment banking, and corporate strategy throughout their career.

JP Y. holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Boston College. They also have completed an Overseas Study program at the University of Sofia, Bulgaria, as a Boren Fellow under the National Security Education Program (NSEP). In addition, JP earned a Master of International Affairs in International Energy Management and Policy (IEMP) from Columbia | SIPA. They further pursued an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School. JP Y. also attended the National Defense University for the Joint Forces Staff College - Joint Professional Military Education program focused on National Security Strategy, Counterterrorism, and Counterinsurgency. Finally, JP Y. engaged in Overseas Study at UCL in the School of Slavonic and East European Studies.
