Alex Karpinski

Alexander Karpinski is an experienced performance manager currently overseeing front of house operations at the Metropolitan Opera, a position held since November 2022. Karpinski has a rich background in theater management, having served in various capacities at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center from 2014 to December 2023, including Head Usher. Additional roles include Assistant House Manager for Stages I & II at New York City Center and Associate House Manager at Barrington Stage Company. Karpinski's career also includes experience as Performance Manager at Brookside Cabaret, Staff Usher, and Guest Experience Representative at various esteemed venues. Academically, Karpinski holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts and Media Studies from the University of Denver and a certificate in Screenwriting and Film Production from the New York Film Academy.
