Debra Lew Harder

Debra Lew Harder is an accomplished radio host and concert pianist with extensive experience in both the arts and medical education. Currently serving as a Radio Host and Announcer at the Metropolitan Opera since September 2021, Debra also co-directs the Medicine + Music program at Sidney Kimmel Medical College, which integrates musical training into the medical education curriculum. As a consultant and concert pianist, Debra has developed programs connecting piano music to universal themes, presenting engaging performances for diverse audiences. Previously, Debra was a Mid-Day Classical Host at WRTI-FM and a keyboard teaching affiliate at Haverford College. Debra holds advanced degrees in Piano Performance from The Ohio State University and a medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University.
