Theresa Ganley

Theresa Ganley is a seasoned stage manager with extensive experience in opera productions. Currently serving as a Stage Manager at the Metropolitan Opera since September 2003, Theresa previously held the position of Production Stage Manager and Stage Manager at the San Francisco Opera from August 1992 to September 2003. Throughout a diverse career that includes stage management roles at various companies from 1989 to 2001, Theresa contributed to organizations such as Glimmerglass Opera, Opera Theater of St. Louis, Opera Pacific, and Washington Opera. Notably, Theresa served as the Production Stage Manager for "Porgy and Bess" at Houston Grand Opera from 1995 to 1998, overseeing performances across 11 U.S. cities, as well as in Japan, Milan, and Paris. Additional experience includes positions at the Lyric Opera of Chicago and Pittsburgh Opera, complemented by a BFA in Stage Management from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
