Paul Lisiak

Paul Lisiak is the Managing Partner of Metropolitan Partners Group. He oversees all of the firm’s investment activities, operations, fundraising, investor relations, and strategic growth initiatives. In 1996, Paul began his career at Lazard Asset Management LLC as a member of the Global High Yield team that was a regular higher performer among Lipper-rated managers. He then served as the Managing Director of Metropolitan Venture Partners, LLC (“MetVP”) from November 1999 to December 2005. At MetVP, Paul was responsible for deal origination and deal execution across the firm’s offices in New York and London while investing two funds anchored by the Man Group PLC. He occupied board seats for multiple investments made by MetVP and acted as an interim C-level operating executive to build infrastructure and operational discipline for three portfolio companies. Furthermore, he has played an integral role with a number of companies in the development of liquidity opportunities and preparation for incremental institutional investment. From 2005 through 2007, he led strategy and built the financial sponsor group at Ledgemont Capital Group. Paul has been the Managing Partner of Metropolitan since 2008 when the firm was launched. Paul has been a direct investor in over 90 private companies over the past 20 years. He graduated with a B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and was an English-Speaking Union Fellow.
