Henry Oostrom-Shah is an attorney at the Metropolitan Public Defender since August 2023, following a diverse legal career that includes positions such as law clerk at Pipeline Legal Action Network and intern roles at various legal organizations including Galanda Broadman, PLLC, and Federal Defenders of Eastern Washington and Idaho. Prior experience includes serving as a certified law student and intern at several public defender offices and contributing as an advisory committee member on a Health Impact Assessment project. Henry Oostrom-Shah obtained a J.D. magna cum laude from Boston University School of Law in May 2023, as well as a Master's degree with first-class honors in Social Sciences from École des hautes études en sciences sociales and Ecole normale supérieure, and a Bachelor's degree magna cum laude with highest honors in History & Literature from Harvard University.
