Pierre M. Gaunaurd

Pierre M. Gaunaurd is an experienced transportation planner currently serving as Transportation Planner III at the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments since October 2022. Prior roles include Urban Design Research Assistant at the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, Project Assistant at the Environmental Finance Center at the University of Maryland, and Green Infrastructure Intern at the District Department of Transportation. Educational credentials include a Master of Community Planning from the University of Maryland, a JD from American University Washington College of Law, and a Master's in International Affairs from American University School of International Service, complemented by a B.B.A. in Business Administration, Political Science, and Spanish from the University of Miami. Additionally, Pierre has experience as a Visiting Attorney at the Environmental Law Institute, contributing research support for the Environmental Peacebuilding Partnership.
