Aapo Riponiemi

Aapo Riponiemi is an experienced professional in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and Quality management, currently serving as the Director of HSE and Quality at Metso Outotec since July 2020. Prior to this role, Aapo held various positions within Metso from May 2006 to July 2020, including Director of HSE and Quality, Director of Quality for the aggregates equipment business area, Head of Quality for mobile equipment, and several managerial positions in supplier quality assurance and development engineering. Aapo began a professional career as a trainee at Pemamek in 2005. Aapo holds a Master's degree in Industrial Management, Production Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering from Tampere University of Technology, obtained between 2002 and 2009.
