Anne Lawson

Anne Lawson is an accomplished HR professional with extensive experience in strategic human resources roles across various industries. Currently serving as Senior Manager and Global HR Business Partner at Metso since October 2024, Anne leads initiatives in sustainable technologies and service solutions for global markets. Previously, Anne held senior HR positions at UPM - The Biofore Company, focusing on global functions and energy sectors, and at Capgemini, where responsibilities included overseeing HR in Finland. Early career experiences at KPMG Finland, Aalto University School of Electrical Engineering, and Opteam equipped Anne with a robust skill set in employee engagement, talent acquisition, and HR process development. Anne holds a Master’s degree in Management and Organisation with a specialization in Human Resources Management from the University of Vaasa, complemented by education from Umeå University and Shanghai University.
