Ken Johnstone

Ken Johnstone has a diverse work experience in various leadership positions in the technology industry. Ken is currently the Chief Product Officer at Mettle since February 2020. Prior to that, they held the same role at NatWest Boxed starting in March 2023. In addition, they are a Member of the Board of Directors at FreeAgent from March 2023. Ken also founded Quikkly Custom Scannable Codes in 2014 and served as a Founder, CCO, and Board Member. Ken has also worked as the Chief Product Officer at MessageMedia from October 2017 to December 2019. Ken was a Mentor for the 2017 cohort at Techstars. Earlier in their career, Ken was the CEO, Co-Founder, and Board Member at Inq Mobile from September 2011 to April 2014, as well as the Chief Product Officer and Co-Founder from October 2007 to September 2011. Ken was also the Director of Products (global) at Hutchison Whampoa (Europe) Limited from November 2004 to March 2008, and the Head of Handsets at Three. from January 2001 to November 2004.

Ken Johnstone completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2022. Ken previously obtained a BSc (hons) in Industrial Design (Technology) from Edinburgh Napier University from 1989 to 1993.
