Fernán Varela Martínez

Fernán Varela Martínez is a seasoned data engineer with a robust background in software development and programming. Currently a Senior Data Engineer at Mews since September 2021, Fernán previously worked at Plain Concepts as a Data Engineer and Software Development Engineer from September 2018 to August 2021. Prior to that, a tenure at Softtek spanned from May 2013 to August 2018, where roles included .NET Developer and various programming and team leadership positions. Early in the career, experience included roles at SIVSA and Ivory Soluciones, focusing on .NET programming and web application development, as well as short-term work in the audiovisual sector. Fernán holds a degree in Computer Engineering from UNED and has additional degrees in Technical Computer Engineering from Universidade da Coruña and Universidade de Vigo, along with a Superior Technician diploma in Sound from Escola Imaxe e Son.
