Joshua Parks

Joshua Parks has a diverse work experience in various technology-related roles. Joshua is currently working as a DevOps Developer at Meyer Sound since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Epicor from 2021 to 2021 as a Product QA Developer, where they tested a large ERP application and configured an Azure DevOps Server.

From 2018 to 2020, Joshua worked at Meyer Sound as a Build & Release Developer. In this role, they administered Linux and VMware servers, managed a Jenkins build environment, and provided IT troubleshooting support.

Before that, they served as a Computer Technician at BC Tree Fruits Cooperative from 2016 to 2018. There, they supported the organization's workers and infrastructure, deploying and troubleshooting end-user devices, servers, and structured cabling.

In 2015, Joshua gained experience as a Jr. QA Engineer at Procera Networks, running regression tests on software builds and utilizing Wireshark for network traffic analysis.

Joshua'searliest role was as a Co-op Business Intelligence Reporter at Epicor Software in 2014. During this summer position, they assisted the Systems Administrator with technical duties, gained experience with SQL and Crystal Reports, and handled support tickets.

Overall, Joshua has demonstrated their skills in DevOps, QA testing, server administration, IT troubleshooting, and technical support across various companies and industries.

Joshua Parks obtained a Network and Telecommunications Engineering Technology Diploma from Okanagan College, which they attended from 2013 to 2015. In addition, they obtained a Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS) certification from The Linux Foundation in March 2018.
