Andrew Watson has had a long and diverse work experience. Andrew started their career as an IT Support Engineer at Duraflex Ltd in 1988, and later became the IT Operations Manager at Caradon in 1996. Andrew then joined PNL as the IT Network Support Manager in 1999, where they led a team of IT staff. After leaving PNL, Andrew worked at MidlandHR, first as an IT Manager from 2004 to 2005, and then as the Group IT Manager from 2005 to 2006. Andrew then worked at Zeda Ltd as a Service Manager from 2006 to 2008. Andrew's next role was with MidlandHR again, where they held a variety of positions, including Technical Consultancy Manager from 2008 to 2011, Director of IT from 2011 to 2015, and Chief Services Officer from 2015 to 2016. Following this, they worked at DNV GL as the Head of Solutions Operations from 2017 to 2018. Currently, Andrew is serving as the Chief Technology Officer at MHR, where they have been since 2018.

Andrew Watson attended Bishops Cleeve Comprehensive from 1981 to 1987. In 2009, they also had some educational involvement at Cranfield School of Management, although the specific degree obtained during that time is unknown. From 2015 to 2016, Andrew Watson pursued a General Management Program at Cranfield School of Management, focusing on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
