Hamad El Neel Omer

Hamad El Neel Omer is a seasoned professional in the drilling fluids industry, currently serving as a Senior Drilling Fluid Engineer at MI Gulf Services in Dubai since December 2006. In this role, Hamad leads the design and implementation of drilling fluids while ensuring compliance with technical and environmental standards, as well as managing the delivery of M-I fluids and engineering services. Prior experience includes positions as Project Engineer and Drilling Fluids Engineer at MI Drilling Fluid UK Ltd in Sudan, where responsibilities encompassed engineering task execution, job evaluations, and operational management of drilling fluids. Hamad began a career in the Geological Research Authority of Sudan, performing geotechnical laboratory tests and assessing mining project feasibility. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Applied Geology from the University of Aleppo and a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration from the University of Juba.
