Andre Schoeman

Andre Schoeman has over 20 years of experience in various IT roles. Andre currently holds the position of Head of Infrastructure and Security at Mi Hub, where they are responsible for overseeing the company's infrastructure and security operations. Prior to this role, Andre worked as a Technical Architect at Mi Hub, where they redesigned the Europe ERP infrastructure and built a testing environment for critical functionality.

Before joining Mi Hub, Andre served as an Infrastructure Manager at East Midlands Railway, where they led a team of engineers and designed and implemented production and test environments within Azure IaaS. Andre also worked as an Infrastructure Operations Technical Lead at Marston's PLC, where they implemented monitoring and alerting platforms and designed an Azure IaaS platform.

Earlier in their career, Andre held roles such as Infrastructure Technical Lead at Staffordshire County Council, Technical Operations Manager at East Midlands Ambulance Service, and Interim Director of IT at Trinity Conferences. Andre also served as Head of IT at Zibrant Ltd and IT Manager at Ulogistics and Interfleet Technology.

Throughout their career, Andre has demonstrated expertise in infrastructure management, virtualization, network design, and IT strategy development. Andre has successfully led teams, implemented innovative solutions, and ensured the smooth operation of IT systems.

Andre Schoeman obtained a High School degree from HTS Elspark in the years 1985-1990. Andre then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer & Information Sciences at the University of Pretoria from 1992-1994. Andre continued their education by earning an HND in Computer Studies at the University of Derby from 1998-2001. In 2013, they obtained the ITIL Intermediate Certificate Continual Service Improvement from BSI.
