Peter Saastamoinen has extensive experience in technology services and engineering. Peter is currently the VP of Technology Services at Mi9 Retail, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the VP of Cloud Engineering at Mi9 Retail from March 2020 to January 2023. Before that, they were the Director of Enterprise Architecture at Mi9 Retail from September 2017 to March 2020. Peter also worked at Janna Systems Inc as a Project Manager, overseeing the implementation of enterprise e-Business CRM solutions. Peter played a key role in the merger of TD and Canada Trust and in implementing Janna's web-based CRM for JP Morgan's Call Centre.

At APG Solutions and Technologies, Peter started as a software developer and quickly rose to become a Development Team Lead. Peter led a team of developers on a project involving a real-estate market and high-profile client information.

Peter's early career included a position as a Software Engineer at TXBase Systems, where they contributed to the development of a Maintenance Management System for ERP systems.

Peter Saastamoinen completed their Honours Bachelor of Mathematics in Business Information Systems at the University of Waterloo from 1991 to 1996.
