Taneem Islam

Taneem Islam is an accomplished business development professional with extensive experience spanning over two decades in the technology and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Business Development for Goama in Bangladesh since July 2019, Taneem plays a pivotal role in driving sales and business development within a casual esports ecosystem. As the CEO and Co-Founder of MIAKI MEDIA LTD since April 2019, Taneem oversees the provision of digital services, including software development and mobile app solutions. Previously, Taneem held various leadership roles at Ericsson, including Vice President and Account Director, where responsibilities encompassed managing key accounts such as Grameenphone/Telenor and driving sales initiatives. Taneem's career also includes significant positions at Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise and DataSoft Systems Bangladesh Limited, where marketing and account management were central functions. Taneem holds a M.Sc in Advanced Engineering Management from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology and a B.Sc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology.
