Scholastica D. Cororaton

Scholastica (Gay) D. Cororaton, CBE, currently serves as the Chief Economist at the Miami Association of Realtors, a position held since November 2022. Prior experience includes over a decade at the National Association of REALTORS® where roles included Senior Economist & Director of Housing and Commercial Research, managing key housing statistics, and Research Economist, conducting surveys and data analysis. Scholastica has also taught statistics at George Mason University and worked as a tutor in various educational settings. Previous positions include significant roles in the Philippine government and economic institutions, including the National Economic and Development Authority and the Asian Development Bank. Scholastica holds advanced degrees in Statistics and Economics from George Mason University and the University of the Philippines, and an MS in Industrial Economics from the University of Asia and the Pacific.
