Thom Wheeler Castillo

Thom Wheeler Castillo is an accomplished art educator and artist with extensive experience in various educational and artistic roles. Currently serving as an Art Educator at Miami Design District since May 2020 and as a Museum Educator at both Rubell Museum and Pérez Art Museum Miami since February 2020 and October 2013, respectively, Thom also guides at HistoryMiami and has been an artist since 1995. Additional previous roles include Site Manager at Downtown Arthouse and Co-Director at Turn-Based Press, a community print shop, as well as Docent at Miami Art Museum and Festival Manager at Miami Performance International Festival. Thom's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Intermedia/Multimedia from Pacific Northwest College of Art and an International Exchange program in Fine/Studio Arts at Goldsmiths, University of London.
