Ben Westwood

Ben Westwood currently serves as the Head of Compliance and Data Protection Officer at the Motor Insurers' Bureau since July 2023. Previously, Ben held various leadership roles at S&P Global from June 2018 to July 2023, including Global Head of Compliance for Commodity Insights and Director of Regulatory Compliance and Risk, where responsibilities encompassed the development and management of compliance programs under key regulations such as GDPR and EU Market Abuse Regulation. Ben also served as a Senior Privacy Manager and Data Protection Officer at eBay UK and held similar positions at Domestic & General and Vitality UK, focusing on GDPR compliance and privacy program management. Additionally, Ben has contributed as a board advisor for the International Association of Privacy Professionals and has served as a trustee for the Brighton Unemployed Centre & Families Project. Ben Westwood holds a Bachelor of Arts in Photographic Communication from Falmouth University.
