Amelia Hoyt

Amelia Hoyt is an accomplished healthcare information technology leader with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Chief Information Officer at Michael Garron Hospital since April 2020, Amelia previously held the position of Deputy Chief Information Officer at The Hospital for Sick Children from May 2017 to March 2020. Additionally, Amelia has held multiple roles at the University Health Network from May 2002 to May 2017, including Program Manager for Regional Applications and Senior Project Manager for an Enterprise EMR initiative. Earlier experience includes the role of Site IT Relationship Manager at Women’s College Hospital. Amelia holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies and Gerontology from the University of Waterloo and a certificate in Business Administration from the UHN-Rotman Executive Healthcare Leadership Program.
