Fred Ellis

Fred Ellis is a dedicated education and sports professional currently serving as a Student Success Coordinator at the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation since July 2023. Previously, Fred held the position of Student Success Coordinator - Athletics at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor from August 2019 to July 2023, where responsibilities included supporting student-athletes in their academic pursuits and managing tutoring and mentoring initiatives. In addition, Fred contributed as a Volunteer Assistant Coach, overseeing skills development and player recruitment, leading to significant achievements including multiple All-Conference selections and back-to-back conference championships. Fred's coaching experience also encompasses a role as Basketball Coach at Vanguard College Preparatory School and a brief stint as Assistant Director of Sales with Texas Sky Riders Pro Basketball. Fred's career began at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, progressing from Assistant Manager. Fred holds a Master’s degree in Sports Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication and Rhetoric, both from Baylor University.
