Jennifer joins the foundation as a program officer working with the U.S. portfolio of projects. Previously, she worked at the Charles Butt Foundation as the vice president of learning and impact. Before that, she spent six years at Raise Your Hand Texas, where she launched and led the organization’s statewide blended learning initiative. In addition, she has spent time at the Texas Education Agency, conducting research for the Texas Legislature and the University of Texas, as well as a charter management organization in New Orleans and a college-and-career readiness nonprofit in San Antonio.
Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree in English and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Master of Public Policy from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin.
