Wei Dong

Wei Dong is an experienced technology executive with a strong background in engineering, application security, and DevOps. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering and Global Head of Unified Vulnerability Management at Michaels Stores since February 2022, Wei previously led a global team at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as the Global Head of Application Security for the Loyalty Division, managing a substantial budget while implementing security frameworks and strategies. Wei also held leadership roles at Dell EMC, where global teams were built to enhance application security in hybrid cloud solutions, and served as Principal Strategist at Tektronix Communications, focusing on innovation and technology roadmaps. Wei holds advanced degrees in Computer Science and Molecular Genetics from The University of Texas at Dallas and The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, alongside a dual bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Biological Sciences from Tsinghua University.
