Nerys Thomas

Nerys is a Senior Associate in the Tax, Trusts and Succession Team in Bristol. She advises on a wide range of private client issues including wills, lifetime planning, trusts and estate administration. Nerys also has experience of advising on mental capacity issues in a private client context and on charity matters including charity creation, registration and governance.

Nerys is a full member of the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Nerys obtained a first class degree in Law with French at Aberystwyth University and spent a year in Lyon as part of her course. She stayed in Aberystwyth to complete her LLM LPC gaining a distinction. Having trained with a Top 70 national law firm, Nerys qualified in 2016 and remained there post qualification before joining Michelmores in March 2022. Nerys won the Worcestershire Law Society's Junior Solicitor of the Year award in 2018.

Outside of work, Nerys volunteers as a trustee of a charity which focuses on providing community-based support to people who are facing significant challenges.
