Patricia Murphy-Alderman

Patricia Murphy-Alderman currently serves as the Director of Human Resources at Holly Area Schools and as an Educational Consultant for the Michigan Association of School Boards, roles held since September and March 2021, respectively. Additionally, Patricia is the Chief People Officer at Alderman's Inc. and has been a College Instructor at Baker College since January 2015. Previous positions include Superintendent of Schools at Byron Area School District from June 2012 to December 2020, High School Principal at Lowell Area Schools and BIRCH RUN AREA SCHOOLS, and High School Assistant Principal at Kentwood Public Schools and Hastings Public School District. Patricia began a career in education as a Mathematics Teacher at Troy School District. Academic qualifications include a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership with Superintendency & Central Office Emphasis from Saginaw Valley State University, a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Wayne State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Alma College.
