Amber Westendorp

Amber Westendorp is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as a Capital Project and Portfolio Manager at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation since December 2017. In this role, Amber Westendorp performs financial analysis, structures financing transactions, and manages projects, ensuring successful outcomes for various capital access programs that provide up to $5 million in funding. Previously, as a Debt Programs Specialist, valuable experience was gained in underwriting and project management. Prior to joining the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, Amber Westendorp held roles including Financial Analyst and General Office Assistant at the State of Michigan, as well as Head Teller at Union Bank of Michigan. Amber Westendorp holds a Master of Business Administration in Strategic Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialty in Leadership Effectiveness from Davenport University, along with an Associate's degree in Management and Leadership from Lansing Community College.
