Amanda Sano-Hesskamp

Amanda Sano-Hesskamp, Esq. serves as a Staff Attorney at the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center since June 2021, actively contributing to the Transitional Foster Care Team, Long-term Foster Care Team, and LEO Unaccompanied Refugee Minor Team. Prior experience includes a legal internship at Legal Services of South Central Michigan Inc. in 2018 and a Service Learning Assistant role with YouVote MSU in 2012, where Amanda conducted research on political candidates and facilitated voter registration efforts on campus. Amanda earned a Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law in 2020 and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Prelaw focus from Michigan State University in 2016.
