Elizabeth Miller is an experienced assessment developer and language testing specialist, currently working at Michigan Language Assessment and the Center for Applied Linguistics since 2022 and 2015, respectively. In these roles, Elizabeth develops test items for various grade levels and supports the ACCESS for ELLs project. Additionally, Elizabeth serves as an adjunct professor at Porterville College, sharing expertise in linguistics and language assessment. Previous experience includes roles as a substitute teacher across multiple educational settings, tutoring native Arabic speakers in English, and serving as a conference assistant at Georgetown University. Elizabeth holds a master's degree in linguistics with an emphasis on language and communication from Georgetown University and a bachelor's degree in linguistics from UC Santa Barbara.
