Julie Corson

Julie Corson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in international education and language instruction. Currently serving as a Senior International Student and Scholar Assistant Advisor at the University of Colorado Boulder since January 2020, Julie has also held roles in test development and item writing for various organizations, including iTEP International and CaMLA. Julie's past experience includes notable leadership positions at ELS Educational Services, where responsibilities ranged from Center Director to ESL Instructor, focusing on optimizing the educational experiences of international students. Additionally, Julie has a strong background in higher education as an Associate Professor at Senzoku Gakuen Junior College and has facilitated English language workshops for children in Japan through Disney's World of English. Julie Corson holds a Master of Arts in English with a focus on Linguistics and TESOL from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
