William R. Beekman

Bill Beekman was named vice president and director of intercollegiate athletics in July 2018 after being appointed to the interim position in February 2018. Beekman oversees MSU’s 25 varsity sports teams in addition to the care of more than 700 Spartan student-athletes. The position provides leadership in the areas of sports management, game operations, financial administration, personnel, fundraising, corporate interaction, facility management, marketing and communications.
