Em Perry

Em Perry has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. They have recently joined Michigan United as the Environmental Justice Director. Prior to that, they worked at The Outreach Team as the Deputy Director. They also served as a Client Advocate at Centro Multicultural La Familia. Em Perry has a background in dog training and worked as a Certified Professional Dog Trainer at EMPOWER Dog Training and the Obedience Training Club of Greater Lansing. They also have experience in advocacy work, having been a First Response Court Advocate at HAVEN Oakland County and an Advocate at EVE, INC. (END VIOLENT ENCOUNTERS).

Em Perry attended Michigan State University from 2012 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies. In April 2019, Em also obtained the certification of Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) from the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, Inc.
