Joshua Skodack

Joshua Skodack is an experienced educator specializing in science and mathematics instruction across various educational settings. Currently serving as a Math/Science Instructor at Michigan Virtual since July 2019, Joshua has taught high school biology, physics, physical science, and math in an online asynchronous format. Concurrently, Joshua works as a Science Teacher at Ann Arbor Public Schools, focusing on high school Biology, Chemistry, and Environmental Science while also serving as Building Science Chair. Joshua's previous roles include teaching various science subjects at the Academy for Business and Technology High School and Livonia Public Schools. Joshua's early career involved a teaching internship and multiple instructional positions at the University of Michigan, where Joshua also conducted research in biophysics. Joshua holds a Master of Arts in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of Michigan, a Master of Science in Biophysics, and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics with a minor in Mathematics from Purdue University.
