Daniel Kim is currently serving as an Assistant Content Editor for the Michiganensian Yearbook since November 2021. Previously, Daniel was a Data Science Intern at the Center for Biodiversity and Global Change from May 2023 to September 2023, where responsibilities included standardizing biodiversity data for the Yale Map of Life database and developing a local annotation system in R, as well as designing Python code for data retrieval and visualization resembling QGIS's raster stacking and spatial joining processes. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of Michigan, Daniel is expected to graduate in 2025, having previously completed a High School Diploma at Northern Valley Regional High School at Old Tappan in 2021.
