Katie Byrd

Katie Byrd is an experienced music educator and travel planner with a diverse background. Currently serving as an Elementary Music Teacher at Carroll County Schools since July 2023, Katie has also worked as a Disney Travel Planner for MickeyTravels, LLC since November 2021 and as a Travel Planner at Let's Adventure Travel from January 2022 to March 2024. Previously, Katie held the position of Managing Director at the Wadsworth Piano Competition from May 2019 to May 2022 and was an Instructor of Percussion at the University of West Georgia from August 2011 to May 2022. Katie holds a Master's degree in Music Performance from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from The University of Georgia.
