Dr. Knuth Baumgärtel

Dr. Knuth Baumgärtel has extensive experience in various roles within the electronics and sensor industries. Dr. Knuth served as the CEO of Micro-Hybrid Electronic GmbH, a prominent company specializing in electronic solutions and infrared sensors. During their time there, they led the development and production of innovative microelectronics for control tasks in challenging environmental conditions. Dr. Baumgärtel also held the position of Board Member at Nova IR, a company focused on infrared emitters and spectroscopic sensors. In addition, they served as the CEO of Micro-Sensor GmbH. Dr. Baumgärtel also has experience as an Associate Researcher at Bauhaus University Weimar, where they contributed to research projects.

Dr. Knuth Baumgärtel has a diverse and extensive education history. Dr. Knuth obtained their Diplom-Kaufmann (Univ.) degree in Business Administration from Friedrich Schiller University Jena, where they studied from 1992 to 2000. Dr. Knuth also pursued further education in economics at the University of Galway from 1997 to 1998. Additionally, they attended Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin from 1994 to 1996, focusing on the field of Economics. Dr. Baumgärtel eventually earned their Dr. rer. pol. degree in Economic Science/Media Science from Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, studying there from 2000 to 2003.
